It was reported that after autopsy  procedure ,the medical examiner reported that major contributing factors of the cause of death of the “Friends” fame actor, Mathew Perry, was drowning, coronary artery disease and the opioid effects were there along when his body was found in hot tub .

In the autopsy report released on Friday Dec.15,2023 shows that Perry was died of “acute effects “of ketamine, the anesthetic having psychedelic features. Earlier it was learnt that Mathew Perry have been in addiction of drinking and drug use for decades.

It is reported that Perry on Oct.28 this year at the age of 54,was found dead in hot tub and the among the death contributors were  the drowning , coronary artery disease and the major effect of “buprenorphine” the opioid .

If we see the autopsy report, we find that Perry died primarily due to the “acute effects of ketamine” a powerful anesthetic being used as another choice for treating conditions like depression ,anxiety, post-traumatic stress and other mental health issues. Ketamine is also in use as recreational drug.

The report reveals that Mathew was on ketamine infusion treatment but due to the ketamine therapy not being in his system during the last therapy at about a week time before his death.

The autopsy reports further disclose the facts as “At the high levels of ketamine found in his postmortem blood specimens , the main lethal effects would be from both cardiovascular overstimulation and respiratory depression.” .

According to investigators ,the level of ketamine found in Methew’s blood samples was the same as that would be in use during general anesthesia.

Similar findings were revealed by medica examiners and the toxicology reports detected that the levels of buprenorphine as “therapeutic levels” was of that state as in use to treat drug addiction and to relieve pain;Perry’s assistant as a witness said in a statement that he used to see a psychiatrist and was taking twice daily according to doctors advise.The evidence of sedatives were also found but without any finding of alcoholism or cocaine use.

Autopsy records disclosed new details on the day Mathew died.

Witnesses brought this fact to the detectives that Mathew had played pickleball at the morning at around 11:00 a.m. And his assistant leaves home around 1:37 p.m. to run errands and when he returns home at 4:00 p.m. he saw Perry “floating face down.” On seeing this ,the assistant hurried to call 911.And the rescue workers pulled out Perry out of the water tub and laid on the grass before declaring his death.
