Willem Dafoe though seems as his self personality with his character in the horror movie Nosferatu, and writer-director Robert Eggers shows that in the seen where a tomb is surrounded by flames, Willem Dafoe is seemed working with lot of costars.

The filmmaker says’ “That sequence, aside from having real flames, had 2000 real rats,” now the filmmaker so far had worked with the Actor in three projects namely: The Lighthouse in 2019, The Northman in 2022 and this new film to be released next year that was challenging but fun at the same time.
Dafoe, in Egger’s Prague-shot take on director F.W.Murnau’s 1922 horror classic,plays a vampire hunter as named Prof. Albin Eberhart Von Franz. The film itself was an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s world famous novel Dracula that aleardy remade by Werner Herzog in 1979 as Nosferatu the Vampire. The director suggests that wished Von Franz to be the “Crazy Vampire Hunter” such a character ,he said , “I have always loved and related to.”
Eggers explains his period tale as to be set in Transylvania and Germany, as tale relates to “a haunted woman tormented by a horrifying vampire.” The vampire called as “Count Orlok” played by Bill Skarsgard,whose brother Alexander acted in Eggars’ lead Viking in The Northman. Bill the best famous for playing under a great deal of makeups, Pennywise ,the clown-monster in the It films. Eggars further briefs that the Swedish actor had undergone an even much extremes makeovers for his role as Orlok.
The directors says, “Aside from eyes ,it’s so hard to find Bill,” he further says, “I am trying to not give too much away, but Bill totally transforms into something that is very unique.” To lower his voice an octave actor worked with an opera coach. The filmmaker says, “People are going to think it is all digital tampering ,but he put in the work, and I am super excited to see what audiences make of Bill Skarsgard’s Count Orlok.”
Ellen Hutter,the heroine of the film, played by The Idol star Lily-Rose Depp, and Nicholas Hoult from the show aired on TV namely The Great and the comedy of the year Renfield as being portrayed as her husband ,Thomas. Eggers tells of Hoult’s role as “In many ways, Hoult’s the damsel in distress in this story,” and further he says, “The main thing that makes this different from the other versions of Nosferatu is that it emphasis much more on Lily-Rose’s character Ellen.”
The movie’s cast includes Ralph Ineson, also, who appears in both The Northman and The Witch .While describing his character in the film DR.Wilhelm Sievers, as “In many ways the Watson to Willem Dafoe’s Holmes.”
It is the Hall Mark of Eggers as he never gave up –or , at least , didn’t make so far too long and said, “The second time it fell apart, I thought , with clarity , this movie is not supposed to be made,” he confesses with smile. “I don’t necessarily thing everything happens for a reason, but the way the film turned out with this incredible cast is the kind of thing that makes you wonder if everything does happen for a reason.”

The New Horror , Nosferatu is scheduled to be released in theaters in next year on the Eve of Christmas on Dec.25,2024.
